Awareness Programme on AI Courses and Programmes

An Awareness Programme on Artificial Intelligence Courses is organized as a part of  Pre-Summit Activities in the context of the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.

AI has emerged as a transformative force shaping economies, societies, and knowledge systems across the globe. As highlighted by the University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Education, AI is not only a technological advancement but a strategic enabler for India’s national visions of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat and the launch of the IndiaAI Mission in 2024 marks a significant step towards strengthening India’s leadership in inclusive and responsible AI development.

The IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi, aims to translate global AI commitments into tangible real-world impact through coordinated efforts of government, industry, and academia. Higher Education Institutions play a pivotal role in this journey by promoting AI awareness, nurturing talent, enhancing research and innovation, and bridging the gap between education and industry.

In this spirit, the awareness programme aimed at creating awareness about AI, exploring emerging trends and career opportunities, encouraging interdisciplinary learning, and inspiring students and educators to move from AI users to AI creators. It also aimed to strengthen our understanding of ethical, inclusive, and sustainable AI practices, aligning with the broader national and global objectives.
