The PG Department of Computer Science, Fakir Mohan University successfully organized a Campus Recruitment Drive on 11th February 2026 at 11:00 AM. The event was conducted by Bramhananda Kabi, Software Engineer at Thinkcore Technologies, Bhubaneswara, Odisha.

The recruitment drive aimed to provide students with direct exposure to industry expectations and career opportunities in the IT sector. Mr. Kabi interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on current industry trends, essential technical competencies, and professional development strategies required to succeed in the competitive software domain.

During the session, he emphasized the importance of strong fundamentals in programming, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and effective communication. Students actively participated in the interactive session, raising thoughtful questions related to career growth, project development, and recruitment procedures.The drive comprised resume screening, an aptitude and technical assessment, followed by personal interviews. The initiative offered students a valuable platform to demonstrate their knowledge, technical expertise, and confidence in a real-world recruitment setting.

The event was smoothly coordinated by the faculty members of the department, ensuring systematic organization and enthusiastic participation. Importantly, the recruitment drive resulted in job opportunities being offered to several deserving students through Screen test exam, marking a significant achievement for the department.

Overall, the Campus Recruitment Drive proved to be a highly beneficial, motivating, and outcome-oriented event. The department looks forward to organizing more such industry–academia collaborative programs in the future to enhance students’ employability and create greater career opportunities.
